This roundtable discussion on the Hungarian public’s attitudes toward environmental and climate policy will initiate a dialogue on how people relate to the issue of climate change, what factors influence environmentally conscious behavior, and what role public perception can play in climate policy decision-making. During the discussion, MCC students and climate ambassadors will share their thoughts on topics such as citizens’ capacity to act, trust in institutions, and the societal challenges of the green transition. The event will also provide an opportunity for participants to reflect together on future directions in climate policy and the possibilities for public engagement.
