Dr. Mónika Besenyei holds degrees in mathematics and physics from Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), and later earned her environmental engineering degree from Széchenyi István University in Győr. She obtained her PhD from Corvinus University of Budapest.
Throughout her career, she has been involved in international research and programs in the fields of sustainability, environmental management, and education development.
She has taught, conducted research, and worked as a trainer and curriculum developer at several Hungarian universities. She is also a certified ESG Consultant.
Dr. Besenyei is a member of the Economic Science Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Environmental Pedagogy Division of the Hungarian Educational Research Association.
