The Learning Institute was established in December 2021 with the aim of building a community of distinguished researchers and experts engaged with the international academic landscape. Its mission is to place educational narratives from Hungary and the broader Carpathian Basin within a 21st-century framework. Throughout the 2023/24 academic year, the Institute remained active in conducting research and analytical work, organizing a number of professional events, including international education conferences. In collaboration with MCC Press, the Institute published two English-language academic volumes with international reach. In 2024, the Institute successfully laid the groundwork for integrating a conservative educational narrative into the Hungarian education policy discourse—irreversibly establishing its presence in this space. It also began building a network of professional allies across Europe, further strengthening its role in shaping education policy from a distinctly intellectual and values-driven perspective.
