The National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) is an independent, expert-based state authority that regulates and supervises the fields of media, electronic communications, and postal services in Hungary. Its goal is to create a safe, transparent, and sustainable digital environment where users—especially children and young people—are protected, and service providers can operate under fair and equal market conditions.
NMHH actively supports society, the economy, and the cultural sector in adapting to the challenges of the digital world, while maintaining open dialogue with market players, professional partners, and the general public. Through its work, the Authority contributes to ensuring that Hungary’s digital future is predictable, fair, and accessible to all.
