MCC School of Economics

MCC's School of Economics is dedicated to strengthening the Hungarian economy through education and research. Our courses aim to provide students with a broad understanding of economics while helping them grasp the inner workings of the Hungarian economy. We emphasize openness, strong methodological foundations, the link between theory and practice, and a deep understanding of the national economic context. Our mission is to prepare students to apply their globally competitive knowledge within Hungary—as business leaders, analysts, researchers, or policymakers. Our research focuses on uncovering the motivations, organizational frameworks, and societal patterns that shape the Hungarian economy, while also interpreting global technological, social, and economic trends. We strive for methodological and theoretical excellence, ensuring that our insights offer valuable knowledge for economic decision-makers. Through our projects, we create a space where businesses, students, academics, and policymakers can work together to strengthen the connection between theory and practice. On one side, real-world experiences and practical needs are brought in by companies and analysts; on the other, MCC's School of Economics delivers high-quality analytical tools and research outcomes tailored to the Hungarian context—offering meaningful answers to the country’s economic challenges and opportunities.
