The Hungarian Youth Conference (MIK) is the main coordination forum for Hungarian youth organizations across the Carpathian Basin. Established in 1999, its mission is to unite youth advocacy organizations from Hungary and Hungarian communities abroad. The Conference aims to strengthen cooperation among Hungarian youth, promote joint projects, and coordinate youth policy interests. Its members include various civil and youth organizations from Transylvania, Slovakia, Vojvodina, Subcarpathia, and Hungary. MIK convenes several times a year to make strategic decisions and launch initiatives. In addition to its own programs, it actively participates in professional conferences, forums, and partnership collaborations. Preserving cultural identity and strengthening national cohesion are central to MIK’s mission. The organization supports youth leadership training, youth research projects, and cross-border cooperation. Through collaboration, the voice of Hungarian youth across the Carpathian Basin becomes stronger and more visible in decision-making processes. At the event, MIK member organizations will also have the opportunity to present themselves. More details and the full schedule will be available on the MIK Facebook page.
