Youth for the Nation Foundation

The Youth for the Nation Foundation was created by young people driven by patriotism and enthusiasm. We are committed to preserving our historical and cultural traditions, preserving the memory of our ancestors, enriching scientific and cultural life, and organizing and supporting events aimed at this.

The Youth for the Nation Foundation was created by enthusiastic young people who love their country. We are committed to the preservation of our historical and cultural traditions, the memory of our ancestors, the enrichment of scientific and cultural life, and the organisation of events to this end.

It is the field of culture that we are particularly active in, which is why we organize performances by András Berecz, a Kossuth Prize-winning singer and storyteller, or evenings dedicated to the poetry of Petőfi and Albert Wass by the actor Károly Rékasi. We launched a series of reviews for book and film lovers, and a bookmark series for those who love reading. We are also in the field of awareness-raising: we have organised several lectures all over the country by well-known experts such as the psychologist Emőke Bagdy or the popular among young people Father Feri Pál and Dr. Gábor Zacher. We have also conducted several researches to increase the public activity and media awareness of young people. We also organize a large number of contests:  folk song contest for young people, recitation contest, photo, video and drawing contests on the theme of national identity and environmental protection, or a creative design contest on the theme of the colors of Hungary's national flag.

Community building is another priority area of our mission: we have organised several team building programs, summer camps and youth exchange programs with young people from Hungary and abroad, and we have also established the Circle of Friends of our Foundation. Our wall calendars and school travelling exhibitions entitled "Being Hungarian is a thing of pride and  delight" and "The Amazing Carpathian Basin" are featuring Hungary's cultural, natural, and architectural heritage.  We have designed a unique supporters' scarf for those who love sports and we also to think of those who are in need.
