Esztergom District Office Youth Guarantee Program

Among its responsibilities, the Employment Department of the Esztergom District Office is also tasked with implementing the GINOP-PLUSZ 4.1.1 Youth Guarantee Program. The program’s goal is to identify and support as many NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) young people as possible, providing them with tailored assistance. Participants can choose from various training and retraining opportunities, or receive support in entering the open labor market. In addition, the Employment Department handles the registration and case management of jobseekers and young graduates, maintains ongoing cooperation with employers, partner organizations, NGOs, and local governments, and determines unemployment benefits for jobseekers from EU and EEA member states, including communication and standardized documentation if needed. Other core tasks include processing labor demands, job placement, and supporting EU project implementation, including enrolling clients in programs, providing labor market services and training, and connecting them with suitable job opportunities. The department may also offer labor market subsidies to employers who hire program participants. Finally, it manages responsibilities related to public employment, as defined by the Ministry of Interior and the Komárom-Esztergom County Government Office—including organizing, supervising, and overseeing the execution of public works and community service programs.
