The tasks of the Employment Department of the Esztergom District Office are the following, in particular: registration of jobseekers and career starters, and the management of the related follow-up. Liaising with employers, partner organisations, non-profit organisations and municipalities.
Calculating jobseeker's allowance for workers from EU and EEA member states, communicate where necessary and obtain standard forms.
Managing workforce demands, job placement.
It participates in the professional implementation of EU projects, ensuring the inclusion and retention of clients in the program, offering them labour market services, training and, where possible, suitable jobs, and providing labour market support to employers who undertake to employ those included in the program, within the competence of the department.
It carries out the tasks defined by the Ministry of the Interior in connection with public employment by the Komárom-Esztergom County Government Office. It organises and monitors public employment. And carries out the tasks assigned to it in connection with the implementation of the work in the public interest.
