The third annual MCC Feszt was a huge success, with over 250 performers, more than 120 professional programs, and around 50 musical events and 100 exhibitors on the Edu Promenade.

Over the course of three days, MCC Feszt welcomed over 47,000 visitors and hosted several national and international experts, public figures, and academics. In total, 60 speakers from more than 15 countries shared their thoughts with the audience through unique and engaging panels, discussions, and lectures. Former Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz spoke about the excellent relationship between Austria and Hungary, and the strategic importance of both countries to one another. The American political commentator Michael Knowles presented his recently translated book and spoke highly of Hungary's family policy. Vlad Marinescu, Director General of the International Judo Federation and President of the International Esports Federation gave his thoughts on the cultural significance of sports. Besides the academic presentations, several Hungarian ministers and leading politicians took part in Q&A sessions and debates. Exciting discussions were held on the rule of law, the last 10 years of Hungarian education policy, battery production, and the current state of journalism.

With around 100 exhibitors along the Little Danube and in Lőricz Street, the so-called Edu Promenade was packed with interactive and family-oriented activities. Each day, thousands of visitors came to explore the various MCC training programs, institutes, student groups, and its partner organizations.  From the evening to the early hours of the morning, festivalgoers danced to the music of the greats of Hungarian popular music. Performers included Ákos, the Bagossy Brothers Company, Dzsúdló, T-Danny, Balkan Fanatic, and many others. The Folk Tent was also a huge success, with performances, dances, and folk music for all ages.

As Zoltán Szalai, Director General of MCC, described it, MCC has found a second home in Esztergom. The event has become the most prominent professional & pop music festival in the Carpathian Basin. The success story will continue next year, with MCC Feszt returning to Esztergom from the 1st-3rd of August 2024.
