Tibor Závecz has four decades of experience in public opinion research. He graduated from Eötvös Loránd University as a programmer mathematician and later as a sociologist. From his very first job at the Mass Communication Research Center (later known as the Hungarian Institute of Public Opinion Research), he was involved in questionnaire-based surveys and worked as an analyst. From 2001, he served as the Director of Public Opinion Research at Szonda Ipsos, and later at Ipsos. At the end of 2015, he founded ZRI Závecz Research Market and Social Research Ltd.
