Attila Szalay-Berzeviczy served as the President of the Budapest Stock Exchange for three terms between 2004 and 2008. He is currently the CEO of Erste Investment Ltd., International Capital Markets Advisor to the EBRD in London, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at BOM Foundation for Hungarian Sport, and a guest lecturer at the School of Economics of Mathias Corvinus Collegium. He is also a member of the International Advisory Board of the Washington-based think tank Strategy and Leadership for a New Central Europe. In addition, he is the author of the two-volume book In the Centennial Footsteps of the Great War – From Sarajevo to Trianon, published in 2022–2023. In recognition of his public service, he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary by President László Sólyom on August 20, 2008.
