Mónika Raffael originally qualified as a social worker specializing in child and youth protection and is also a trained art therapist. She is currently a first-year student in the interdisciplinary Family Studies master’s program at Semmelweis University.

For 25 years, she has worked in fields related to disadvantaged groups and social inclusion. Her professional background includes roles as a school educator, program coordinator at an international human rights organization, psychiatric community care worker, and government official.

For the past six years, she has served as a researcher and analyst at the Mária Kopp Institute, and for the last three years, she has also been a mentor in the MCC Roma Talent Program.
