Dr. Zoltán Osztie was ordained a priest in 1981 and holds a doctorate in moral theology. He served as a chaplain in several locations within the Archdiocese of Esztergom-Budapest and spent eight years teaching moral theology, later lecturing on liturgy at the Veszprém Theological College.

A dedicated advocate for faith and civic engagement, Dr. Osztie led the Christian Intellectuals’ Association (Keresztény Értelmiségiek Szövetsége) for 20 years. For the past 25 years, he has served as the parish priest of the Budapest Downtown Our Lady Parish. He is also president of the St. Thomas Aquinas Public Life Association and the spiritual leader of the St. Thomas Aquinas Ecumenical Public Life Academy.

His contributions to public life and spiritual leadership have been recognized with numerous honors,
