István Mohácsy is a Hungarian economic expert, politician, and public figure, currently serving as the national president of Fidelitas and a municipal representative in Biatorbágy. His work focuses on representing national values, encouraging civic engagement among younger generations, and promoting patriotic thinking. He graduated in Business Management from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences. Early on, he showed interest in public affairs and politics, shaping his career path.
He began his professional journey in 2017 at the Office of the National Assembly and later held various public administration roles, including positions in the Prime Minister's Cabinet Office, the Prime Minister's Office, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Mohácsy joined Fidelitas, Hungary’s largest right-wing youth organization, in 2011. He led the Biatorbágy local Fidelitas chapter (2015–2017), actively shaping local public life, then took over leadership of the Pest County organization in 2017.
At the national level, he was elected vice president in 2022 and became national president of Fidelitas in 2024. Under his leadership, the organization aims to strengthen patriotic values, promote youth civic activity, and reinforce national identity.
