Fernando Pedrosa is an Associate Professor of Contemporary History course in the Political Science program at the Faculty of Social Sciences, and teaches postgraduate courses at the University of Salvador and the National University of the South. He is the director of the journal Asia/Latin America, published by the University of Buenos Aires Press, and coordinates the Study Group on Asia and Latin America at the Institute of Latin American and Caribbean Studies.

He has lectured and given conferences at universities across Latin America, Europe, and Asia. He has published numerous articles—some translated into German and English—and authored books on international politics. He is also a regular contributor to media outlets in Latin America and Europe as an analyst on global affairs.
