Péter Fáykiss is the Director of International Business Development at HOLD Asset Management, a position he has held since August 2024. His professional career began at IFUA Horváth & Partners, an international consulting firm, where he worked in the financial institutions division between 2007 and 2008. In 2009, he joined the Central Bank of Hungary (Magyar Nemzeti Bank – MNB), and in 2013 he was appointed Deputy Head of the Financial Regulation Department at the Ministry for National Economy, where he played a key role in coordinating the preparation of the new Act on Credit Institutions.
From 2014, he led the MNB’s Macroprudential Policy Department, and in 2017 became Director of the Macroprudential Directorate. Between 2019 and 2024, he served as Director of the MNB’s Directorate for Digitalization, overseeing the institution’s innovation-related initiatives.
A graduate of Corvinus University of Budapest, he earned both his degree and PhD there. Since 2009, he has been a regular speaker at professional forums and academic institutions. In 2024, he became an associate professor at Budapest Metropolitan University, and from 2025, he serves as a board member of the Hungarian FinTech Association.
