Norbert C. Tóth earned a teaching degree in history from PPKE and completed his PhD in medieval and early modern history at ELTE. In 2018, he was awarded the Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) title, and in 2025, he habilitated at the University of Pécs. He has been an active researcher and educator for over two decades and currently leads the Hungarian Medieval Studies Research Group. He has received numerous prestigious awards and research grants. He is a member of the MTA’s Section II and several academic societies, and serves as a non-academic representative in the MTA General Assembly.
