Viktória Bakondy-Esze completed her studies at Eötvös Loránd University, and began her career in 2014 as a labor market advisor and trainer at the Hungarian Interchurch Aid, where she worked with job seekers. Her interest turned partly towards occupational psychology, and she also observed that family dynamics greatly influence those seeking help with career issues. Consequently, she soon started couples and family therapy studies at the Hungarian Association of Family Therapy.

Over the years, she worked as a psychologist for an organizational diagnostics company, as well as a training specialist and internal trainer at a large Hungarian corporation. In addition, she has continuously seen clients in private practice for individual, couple, and family difficulties and serves as an appointed couples and family therapist at a family and child welfare center in Budapest.

Currently, she is also active as a professional at Mindset Psychology, where besides the above, she contributes to the Develent program as a professional coordinator and psychologist leading group sessions. As a mindfulness instructor, she is a committed advocate of mindfulness-based stress reduction.
