Kata Asztalos has been the head of the Szeged training center of Mathias Corvinus Collegium since 2021. The center has become a prominent player in talent development in the region, offering training programs and a supportive community to more than 300 students ranging from age ten to university level.
Kata Asztalos earned her doctoral degree in Education Sciences. Since 2012, she has conducted research and taught at her alma mater, the University of Szeged, and at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. She continues to teach as a part-time lecturer at the University of Szeged. She has experienced the transformative power of knowledge and community through her roles as division president, board member, and later deputy general president of the National Association of Doctoral Students in Hungary.
