The Budapest-based rock trio Butterbros emerged from the remnants of a recently disbanded high school band in September 2020. After several years of experimenting with different styles, the band has been playing a unique version of alternative British hard rock with Hungarian lyrics since 2024. Their debut album, written in this style, is set to be released between September and October 2024. Their biggest influences include Royal Blood, Muse, Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age, as well as numerous metal and alternative rock bands. The current members of the trio are Levente Lukács (guitar, vocals), Kristóf Kovács (bass guitar, vocals), and Benedek Koenig (drums, vocals).
