Will Long is the Founder and CEO of Numinar, a political technology startup that leverages data, artificial intelligence, and integrated software to empower campaigns of all sizes to engage voters and win elections. Since its founding, Numinar has supported over 1,000 campaigns—ranging from city council races to U.S. Senate contests—enabling 16,000 candidates, staff, and volunteers to reach more than 23 million voters nationwide. Following its successful Series A fundraising round, Numinar is poised to be a key player in the 2024 election cycle.
A native of Oklahoma, Will graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University with one of the first Joint Concentrations in Computer Science and Government. His thesis, which explored the application of Thomas Hobbes’s political philosophy to cooperation problems in artificial intelligence, earned the Hoopes Prize, Harvard’s highest academic honor. During his studies, he gained industry experience building machine vision systems at Amazon Go and developing big data infrastructure at Palantir.
Motivated by the gap in accessible tools for down-ballot candidates, Will launched Numinar to democratize campaign technology in a space historically dominated by costly, service-based consulting models. Outside of his work at Numinar, he is active in civic and intellectual life, serving on the boards of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, the Harvard Club of Washington, DC, the Georgetown Ministry Center, and the Cicero Society, a philosophical debate forum he founded. He lives in Washington, DC, with his wife and newborn daughter.
