He earned his degree and university doctorate from the Faculty of Law at Comenius University in Bratislava in 1985. Since 2002, he has been a member of the working group preparing the strategic partnership and integration of SLOVNAFT and MOL. Since 2006, he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of SLOVNAFT. In April 2010, he became a member of the Board of Directors of MOL Group and has since held several key positions within the company. He is currently Deputy CEO of MOL, and a member of both the Board of Directors and the Executive Board.

He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Miskolc Foundation and Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the MOL-New Europe Foundation.
