Éva Ványi is a historian and political scientist, holding a PhD in Political Science .
She taught for 15 years in the political science programs at Corvinus University of Budapest, as well as in a specialized training program in political marketing and communication consultancy, jointly run with the Századvég Public Knowledge Centre Foundation.
Currently, she is the Vice Dean for Education at the István Nemeskürty Faculty of Teacher Training at the University of Public Service. She is also one of the editors of the journal Századvég.
Her research primarily focuses on the composition of the Hungarian governmental elite, decision-making in government, and the relationship between politics and public administration. She has also published works on political history and the state of civic education in Hungary.
