Miklos Lukacs de Pereny is a Peruvian scholar working at the intersections of Philosophy of Technology, Applied Ethics, and Science and Technology Studies. He holds a PhD in Management and an MSc in Innovation Management from the University of Manchester in the UK, a Master of Development Studies at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Universidad Mayor of Chile. He has also completed the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Program and attended the late Sir Roger Scruton's Philosophy Summer School in Wiltshire, UK in 2018.

 

Dr. Lukacs de Pereny is currently Research Professor at Universidad de San Martin de Porres in Lima, Peru and has also taught at the universities of Essex and Manchester in the UK and ESAN Graduate School of Business in Peru. He has presented his research at academic conferences in Brazil, China, Cuba, England, France, Indonesia, Peru, Scotland, and Sweden and has also worked as project consultant for the German Development Bank (KfW), Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and Global Environment Facility (GEF) among others.

 

He is a former NZAID, ITEC, and UK Chevening Scholar and currently resides in the UK with his family.
