Fanni Surjányi is a Hungarian Middle East researcher and the head of the Middle East Research Project at Mathias Corvinus Collegium.

She studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she gained in-depth knowledge of the region’s history, religions, and political processes.

Her research focuses particularly on the origins of Islam, the Arab-Israeli conflicts, and the relationship between the Middle East and the Western world.
