Paul Rougeron is a seasoned expert in event creation and coordination, currently serving at MCC Brussels, where he brings his extensive experience to promoting impactful events at the European level. With a background in engineering, he transitioned into event management immediately after earning his master’s degree, quickly establishing himself in high-pressure, high-visibility environments.
His career began as a freelance consultant during the French presidential campaign, where he served as production director for candidate Éric Zemmour’s meetings, working closely with Olivier Ubéda. Within just five months, he helped coordinate 15 large-scale events attended by nearly 100,000 people, honing his expertise in the strategic, logistical, and creative aspects of event production. He went on to serve as operations director for an independent political consulting group during the 2022 French legislative campaign and continued as a freelance project manager, overseeing a wide range of projects including international festivals, corporate seminars, and theatre tours.
More recently, Paul directed meetings for the French European elections and contributed to the opening and closing ceremonies of the Paris Olympics. A passionate traveler, he enjoys driving a variety of vehicles—from boats to motorcycles—and aspires to add flying to his repertoire. At MCC Brussels, Paul is committed to organizing bold, memorable events that counter the city's often uninspired event culture, and to advancing the organization’s mission through innovative public engagement.
