Viktória Pató graduated in International Public Administration from the University of Public Service, where she later pursued doctoral research at the Doctoral School of Public Administration. Her academic focus centers on digitalization as both a challenge and an opportunity within modern science policy.
She has participated in numerous European Union projects in roles ranging from member to coordinator and project leader. Her professional background includes experience in diplomatic missions abroad, as well as in the academic, civil, and private sectors. She has also worked in public administration, serving in the cabinet of the minister responsible for regional development and the utilization of EU funds.
Since 2020, she has been a researcher at the Institute for Strategic Studies on Europe (EUSTRAT) at the University of Public Service, concentrating on EU innovation policy, digital transformation, and science development. In addition to her academic work, she has served since 2023 as a senior expert at the Hungarian Development Promotion Office, contributing to the development of the ecosystem supporting access to direct EU funding.
