Konrád Keresztes is the Deputy Director of Health Policy and Communications at MSD Hungary, the local branch of one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. In his current role, he is responsible for building strategic partnerships, developing the local healthcare ecosystem, and leading digital health initiatives.

Before joining MSD, he held several senior advisory roles in the Hungarian government. At the Ministry of Defence, he oversaw health innovation and human development, while at the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, he served as a health industry advisor. He played a key role in drafting Hungary’s first national long-term health industry strategy and led a sector analysis that underpinned an 85 billion HUF support program for SMEs. He also contributed to COVID-19 response projects and policy development for health technology parks.

Previously, he was research lead at MCC’s Centre for Future Health Development and has mentored health startups and students. He has represented Hungary as a policy advisor to the EU Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (HERA) and currently chairs the Supervisory Board of EGINOK. He studied International Business at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and pursued further studies in digital health and entrepreneurship at the National University of Singapore and University College London.
