Anna Karády was born in the winter of 1986 and spent her childhood near Lake Balaton, completing her schooling in Balatonfüred. She pursued her university studies in Budapest, where she earned a degree in law. For many years, she worked in the capital, writing exclusively within academic and professional contexts.

Her first venture into creative writing—apart from a few poems written in her teenage years—was the historical novel A füredi lány, published in 2021. This was followed by the novella Cigányélet grófi módra and the sequel to her first novel, A füredi földesúr.

The final installment of the Füredi lány series, titled A füredi gyermek, was released in the summer of 2022.
