Tünde Fűrész has been an active contributor to Hungary’s family and population policy since 2010. Between 2010 and 2014, she served as head of department responsible for this field, and from 2014 to 2016, she held the position of Deputy State Secretary. As a ministerial commissioner, she oversaw the transformation of the national nursery system.
Since December 2017, she has been serving as President of the Mária Kopp Institute for Demography and Families (KINCS), a key institution supporting research and policy in the areas of demography, family, and social development.
Fűrész holds a law degree with a specialization in economics and is the mother of three daughters.
