Gergely Endrődi is a physicist and internationally recognized researcher in particle physics and lattice field theory. He earned his degree in physics and PhD at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Faculty of Science. He continued his academic career in Germany as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Regensburg, then led a junior research group at Goethe University Frankfurt, and later became a professor at Bielefeld University. Since November 2024, he has been a full professor at ELTE. His work has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the Pro Scientia Award and the Kenneth Wilson Award. He is the recipient of major research grants such as the ERC Consolidator Grant, the Emmy Noether Grant (DFG), and funding from the CRC Research Network (DFG) and Research Grant Hungary (NKFIH).
