Chris Leck is an adjunct Senior Fellow with the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is currently serving in the Singapore Public Service as Group Chief Technology Officer, Public Sector Science & Technology Policy & Plans Office (S&TPPO), and Chief International Partnerships Officer, Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR).

Chris joined the Singapore Public Service in 2001. Prior to his current roles at S&TPPO and A*STAR, he was the Deputy Executive Director of the national space office, the Office for Space Technology & Industry. Other senior appointments he held in the past included Deputy Group Director, Technology & Industry Development Group, Land Transport Authority; Director, Futures & Transformation Division, Ministry of Transport; and Director for Strategic & Political-Military Planning, Ministry of Defence.
