Katalin Basa is a writer and illustrator. Her publications for children are released by Ecclesia Publishing, including the Biographical Series of Hungarian Saints, which is complemented by a sticker album.

Her folk fantasy novel, The Nameless Queen, brings characters familiar from Hungarian folklore into present-day Budapest. The book is illustrated with the author’s own linocut prints and was published by Hitel Publishing.

As a writer, she values both education and entertainment, aiming to make traditional values accessible and engaging for today’s youth through her works.
